I dunno. This is back when checks and balances were a thing in US governance. Those heads never agreed on anything and it made for a more moderate presidency.
Yeah, its a really gross monument to oppression and genocide. It’s tough though, I don’t know how I’d feel about it’s removal, it would be even more damage to those mountains. Wouldn’t be opposed to some cheeky graffiti on it though.
As an American, nobody would question Washington, Jefferson, or Lincoln’s presence, but Teddy Roosevelt would be the odd man out. He did a lot of great things for the country as well, but he’s decidedly less famous than the others.
