And another #bug in #macOS 14.4.1 #Sonoma that #Apple never bothered to fix.

Is 17.4.1 really 17.4.1? Or what?

This one is laughable, but it shows the complete lack of quality control from Apple these days.

And yes, that one has been around at least for three years, we had reported it, but hey.

@cdfinder I think what you’re showing might not actually be a bug but rather the re-release of iOS 17.4.1 with same version number but different build https://www.macrumors.com/2024/03/27/ios-17-4-1-new-build-number/

@luigigreco

Wow, sure, that is possible, but:

I am not sure if that is not even worse? Apple releasing the name version again, and no way for a user to determine that? That is really really bad.

And also, this information in the Finder window was still so wrong before.

arnan,

@cdfinder most Apple software has been broken in one way or another for the last 10 years at least 🙃

@arnan

Yeah, totally!

Their software quality is so unbelieveable bad, crazy really. They should be ashamed.
