Recently I was browsing some communities I typically hang out in and I started noticing Hexbear accounts being… well their typical selves....

It’s just an instance of reposting reddit links. These showed up in my All feed sorted by Hot even though there’s zero interaction. It just feels like spam.

You take a sip of your tea as you stare at the incomprehensible error message on your terminal. you tab back over to the .config file and scan it for errors for the fifth time - or was it the sixth? you google the error message again, only this time you spot...

Got this message this morning, they seem to be able to see us when logged out, but can’t interact once logged in. :(

Hello! I know things have been very chaotic over the last day with that XSS vulnerability and whatnot, and I’m grateful about the speedy fix implemented by the admins. However, I seem to still be having some issues with logging in to lemmy.blahaj.zone, or even viewing the website in a browser....

I personally am quite against it. I joined Lemmy to stay away from the toxicity on Meta’s platforms. I don’t want any corporate bodies on the fediverse either and possibly doing to the fediverse what Google did to XMPP

About a week and a half back, Jerboa on the Play Store received an update that added 0.18 support and started displaying a similar message whenever you logged in, but didn't actually block using the app or posting, but certain features were not working correctly....

When possible, I think the server needs to be updated to be supported by Jerboa...

This is the only instance I’ve seen this happening on- the other ones switch to dark mode when I switch my browser, but this one doesn’t. Any idea how to fix this?
