iPhone Emergency SOS saved five people trapped in a van in the fire, according to a tweet with screenshot.

I'm really worried that it may rival the Camp fire in the end. Just 2x 2 lane roads out, dense area, lots of people unfamiliar with the geography, and a fire moving quickly through the urban environment at night is a horror.

@ai6yr The other thing is the main roads are not actually along the water, and a water "escape" you are still going to have all the toxic smoke.

Night fires are the reason I have Nixel NOT silenced on my phone at night. They scare me.
