I never understood the #metalcore#bashing
Yes, I was and I am a metalcore guy so probably I'm biased. But statements like: metalcore is not #metal is simply bullshit. There are a lot of #bands out there with really high skills on their respective instruments.
Another one regarding #breakdown : I can tell you from first hand that it's more demanding on the #doublebass than a continuous passage in the same tempo.
It's okay if you don't like it, we're all different. 🤷🏻♂
@TentinQuarantino metal community is formed by different parts and one of them is gatekeepers, where their opinions are mostly driven by an annoying sense of entitlement.
I prefer to use the three-Is approach with them: Identify, Ignore, Isolate.

Listening to the upcoming Darkest Hour album which I think I’ll be reviewing on the podcast. I’m not a massive #Metalcore fan but when it’s done as well as these guys can do it then I can get down with it.

Bad omens will be in Munich on January, 30th 2024. I would have liked to go to their show, but it's just too close to the TesseracT show on February, 2nd. Aaand there's no tickets, anymore ;)
