@h03k like the vast majority of crypto writeups, the premise centers on trying to make a profit, which is entirely wrong. It makes as much sense as an American hoarding euros to make a profit, or a European hoarding dollars. The only reason to acquire crypto is to enable spending it somewhere your other currencies won't suffice. That's it.
If you have free electricity and an old CPU lying around you can get in for free. Otherwise, makes no sense to buy new hardware for it. Not worth the cost.
