I'm highly aggressive with my passions for JUSTICE! Aggressive for HUMAN RIGHTS! Aggressive against colonial OPPRESSORS! Lifelong duties ✊️🦅❤️
Fuck your patriarchy standards. Women can be highly & efficiently aggressive too. We just get shamed for that, while men get rewarded for exact same shit.
@run_atalanta I LOVED how hard she always fought for her all black band mates too. She refused to play shows in deep South USA - when promoters told her that their all white audiences would be upset if she showed up with her full black band. She basically told them to fuxk off & booked other shows instead. I LOVE HER!
I got arrested by VanPD for protesting their inaction on missing Indigenous sex workers in the 90s, in downtown East Vancouver. I cranked up this song, while charging myself into VanPD offices. My supporters played song when I was released from illegal detainment, after ✊️❤️🦅
Important to show up! Rack up all the illegal detainments & all illegal arrests. Slap those uni & college & govt asshats with big class action suit(s). They'll seriously pay attention, when that happens.
It matters a lot if you keep showing up & cops don't. All of that has to be documented on public record. All of that helps boost your cause & also help with any additional legal suits, to follow. Please show up & ensure your court attendance is officially recorded & take a photo of that official confirmation too(you have legal rights to ask for & obtain permission to do this).
I showed up, in front of Vancouver PD headquarters, day after I was released from jail & held a loudass human rights rally & my entry song was this: https://youtu.be/4cia_v4vxfE?si=l-NuaX980q0nQqQ8
2nd song I played, almost all of us sang it out loud, together.
Midnight Oil came out to Clayoquot Sound too & I'll never forget their heli-drop onto our War of the Woods blockade ❤️✊️🦅❤️ https://youtu.be/tKzJYSabSW0?si=Hp7gbni3m5Vvybqn
Info about Pickton for folks unfamiliar. Many of us tried to report important info to VanPD for years & we were ignored because they don't see sex workers, especially Indigenous ones, as worthy humans, with lives worth investigating. https://youtu.be/8W7ktptJdcE?si=Gryd_A-hChBe_at6
I always chose #TOOL as my tactical building music up at frontlines. I still love using TOOL as my background music, as I continue to build for activist actions - at home.
I remember playing this #Guster Satellite song, while living in a treesit, 180 ft up from ground, for a week. I was watching shooting stars fly across the skies, without any city lights pollution. It was spectacular 💗
911 has been not only a longtime bad joke on us #BIPOC folks but also frequently used as a fuxking weapon on us more times than not.
You don't fuxking call 911 on anyone you don't want cops to sic. Especially BIPOC folks. https://youtu.be/MwNhwwcQ4Ow?si=ctZehItTTlc9FR2P
For folks who think trying to tear people like me down will stop us from trying to keep fighting for justice & what's right - you'll be waiting til I'm dead! I ain't giving up, til dead.
Fuck you, shitstains - who think you can bring me down - you can't!
This song helped me to survive my very first anti old growth logging blockades in 90s to early 2000s💗 I built several resistance tactical hardblocks, on logging roads, while this song was playing in background ❤️✊️❤️🌿🦅
