As much as this wants to warm my blackened and disenfranchised heart, I think this outlook is too optimistic.
Biden squelched a primary that liberals begged for, and instead focused on getting balls deep into genocide.
The first wave of primaries hit, with only his name on Dem ballots, and he lost to "uncomitted"/blank.
He said "I am placing sanctions on Israel", he placed sanctions on 3 men who are Israeli.
Then he demanded "order" and villainized college students peacefully protesting his genocide.
Then, this fuckin genius, doubled down and condemned ISRAELI CITIZENS protesting his genocide.
So he got all sorts of backlash, got similar results in a few more primaries.
So he said "I am canceling arms deals with Israel" and put a PAUSE on ONE of the many arms deals his SoS is closing with Israel.
If he ends ALL arms deals with Israel. If he places sanctions on Israel as a whole. If he disavows and admonishes Bibi, then that might give him a shadow of a shot.
The liberals he has disenfranchised from the Democrat party see his tactics though, and those tactics are straight out of the fascist playbook. They also bank on the fact that liberal voters are stupid and will forget all about this hiccup in a week.
I've said it a million times and I'll say it a million more: American liberals don't buy "progressive" fascism, and will not vote for a genocidal fascist, even if another genocidal fascist is in the race.
