The world would be a different place right now if:

• IBM had made the CP/M deal
• IBM open sourced DB/2 circa 2000
• IBM had made the Sun deal
• Rackspace had stayed independent and OpenStack focused
• Google hadn't open sourced Borg, aka Kubernetes
• Netscape hadn't open sourced its browser code
• UC hadn't open sourced and defended BSD
• Daniel never wrote/published curl
