Barred Owl spotted at Mud Lake

This handsome fella was pointed out to me by another birder. I was hoping to see a bird of prey this year and I did which is super cool.

What a majestic creature <3. Also, talons look kinda small compared to body size, but maybe they’re hidden by the impressive plummage
