Very well put, I loved AOT for the same reasons. And while I initially disliked the ending (not hated like some people do, just thought it wasn’t good enough for how excellent the rest of the series is), it grew on me.
It was definitely not what I expected when I started the series and it definitely made you think about everything as you watched/read each episode/chapter.
