I don’t think there are any surprises here. No matter what you think of her, I think most people expected this.

Yeah, the only way she wasn’t getting the job was if she turned it down.

Totally. I heard Foulkes only ran against her as a sort of service to make sure her ideas were tested and debated properly during the process.
