I find debates and the debate format, in general, to be counterproductive and a waste of time. All I am going to say is that, at this point, it should be common knowledge and easily understood that gun control works to prevent gun violence. You see it in any other wealthy country on the planet, and all empirical evidence supports this view. The United States does not exist in a vacuum, as much as some Americans seem to like to think and believe.
