Anyone else having trouble picking up the game waiting on update 42?

I don't want to sound too impatient, after all I am very grateful for Indie Stone and the massive amount of work they've put into delivering this amazing gem for us. I've also been around since 2015, so I'm no stranger to long wait times between amazing updates.

It's just that, build 42 looks so damn good. I want the engine improvements, I want the fishing mini-game, I want the crafting system. When I start a session of zomboid right now, eventually the early game ends, and I'm left wanting to explore a basement.

I did play a ton of project zomboid last year, so it also could just simply be I got a little burnt out on it. But anyone else feeling like this right now? I know once build 42 is ready, and we can jump into a beta, I'll be signing on asap.

wethan2,

Na, definitely felt that with other games though. Best way to deal with it I've found is pretty much the same as burnout, Making runs with custom settings (for example all sprinters) or installing a bunch of mods works pretty well. The insurgent mod with the susceptible trait mod is a pretty good combo.
