My friend is looking into contributing to open source but doesn't know where to start. They have experience in Python, C# (Unity), Swift, and React. Does anyone have some pointers or projects they could look into to get started?
@beef From my Point of view a project and its contributors benefit most if the chosen project is something the contributors are specifically interested in.
A programming language is not specific enough as long time contributions could result in hundreds of ours spent voluntarily. If the project is no personal match, it is no fun to work on.
