@lcamtuf I highly recommend Seek and iNaturalist, I am a dilettante mycologist and they have improved my spotting by orders of magnitude pretty quickly.

@lcamtuf I posted something I thought was a mushroom on iNaturalist and the consensus was that it was actually a carrot that someone had discarded in the woods.
