Impossible to overstate how important Processing has been (and still is), both as software and as a concept of working in the intersection of programming and design.
@troos Fry writes that he is resigning from the Processing Foundation Board, due to disagreements over the direction it has been going and that it isn’t supporting the project.
@jhilden thx! sounds weird. I agree that Processing has been important not only as a piece of technology but as an initiative and a way of thinking about programming as as a medium of creative work
@arnicas also struggling to understand what the foundation then has been doing with their budget, if they’re not supporting the sustainability of Processing :/
