radpanda,

I have just watched this video essay on how regular people are abusing "therapy speak" and other psychological nomenclature.

With all my heart I understand the struggle of dealing with mental issues and strongly believe that everyone deserves professional help BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T SUBSTITUTE THERAPY WITH PSEUDO-PSYCHOLOGICAL CONTENT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

In best case scenario you will learn something misleading due to information taken out of context and in the worst case scenario you will fill yourself with more maladaptive patterns.

And if you do need to get some help then seek it from trusted sources and always check the background of someone advertising themself as professional.
