So here’s something weird. For the last 30 minutes, I have been targeted by an aggressive spam attack on my inbox. Someone appears to have gotten into one of my subscriber’s emails and is using them to just flood my inbox with junk.
I literally have a thousand of these. It’s a reply to an issue I ran over a month ago.
I determined it was another user—a subscriber of mine—who got hacked. See, each of the emails in the replies have the same unsubscribe link, and I was able to determine who it was by unsubscribing them.
I sent them a note informing them they were hacked.
@ernie glad you found out, I had a theory on how this was a spammer's first script and it took him a month (since your post) to iron out the bugs and get it to work
@TechConnectify Not at all! I have determined that it is one user who got hacked (because I unsubscribed them and it’s the same link in every one of these emails I think).
