I hate pre-test jitters.

I know how to drive
I know how to drive
I know how to drive
I know how to drive

@Monsterlady First time?

@apzpins Well, it's my G test coming up in two days, first attempt.

@Monsterlady My first was the most nerve-wracking back in the days. The next ones weren't nearly as bad, although I failed the last one once.

@apzpins So it's a similar approach over there than it is here? I guess we all fail a few times.

I failed my G2 twice before succeeding, and now I have to take my G.

@Monsterlady I would've assumed it's the same thing globally; get some classes, do theoretical exam, do some driving lessons and finally do practical exam.

I've done 3 separate license classes; B and C I got on the first try, but for class BE I failed because the horse trailer I rented for that one broke mid-exam. It was kinda expected way to fail.

@apzpins well that sounds like different classes for different vehicles because this one is more for the necessities.

@Monsterlady Yeah, the EU license classes are A for motor cycles, B for cars and vans below 3500kg, C for anything over 3500kg and D for busses. There's also some oddball classes like light goods vehicle C1 because some EU countries had those.

Each class also has the extended trailer class for heavy trailers, so class B becomes BE, C becomes CE and so forth.

Our driver's license has a chart of the classes with vehicle icons to show what they mean.

@apzpins We have something like that too in Canada but G1, G2 and G are for like regular cars nd I'm trying to get my G

@Monsterlady I had to look up how the other licenses are in Canada and was really surprised how wildly everything varied depending on the province.

@apzpins Yeah Ivonly know how it works in Ontario
