i think people at my coworking space are copying aspects of my computer setup. just noticed that someone has my exact phone stand. a few other people use the same laptop stand . I just started bringing my Moonlander keyboard into the workspace — so we’ll see how long it takes for me to see another moonlander to appear. Does this mean that i’m an influencer? that i’m cool?!
@awoodsnet hm. I recently got a Nuphy Air75 for in office because I hate the keyboard on my work laptop.. this keyboard, had I known about it, might have been a better idea. I have a Kinesis Freestyle Edge for WFH...
@greenexpanse my previous keyboard is the Kinesis Freestyle Pro. it’s a great gateway keyboard for people who want to try a split keyboard - since it has the stagger QWERTY layout. The Moonlander’s split columnar layout feels like learning to type all over. My average tyoing speed is about 40-45 wpm. So now I’m making an edfort to re-learn touch typing so i can get my speed up to 90 wpm.
@curtismchale i kinda like that i’m silently influencing their behavior. However it would nice if talked to me about it - so we can nerd out together about it. 😄
