The Musikkollegium Winterthur is located in Winterthur, Switzerland and was designed by Gottfried Semper in the early 19th century. Thanks to early 20th century arts patrons bringing in big stars like Igor Stravinsky and Richard Strauss to create and maintain creative links to the city it and the Musikkollegium Winterthur became a center of European musical life of the era.
