@dimillian So disappointing that far too many people conflate “tracking” and “telemetry”. The latter is a great way to understand usage without compromising privacy (or security!)
@dimillian People generally freak out about telemetry when it's mentioned. They'd swallow their tongues if they only knew how many iOS apps use anonymous telemetry. Dude, just make it opt-out/in so the crazies go away. Developing in the dark is frustrating AF. 🤘
@bitterseeds I’ll not even add it at this point. I bet I could have added it and said nothing, and nobody would have noticed. Literally, 99% of the apps have some telemetry, which was a mistake I made to launch without it. I’ll pray that Apple adds some light events system to App Store Connect.
