Well, DB being DB, missed my original connection and the train just stopped a stop early.

Was offered an alternative route:

I bitch about #DB being late and messing up my travel schedules, but credit where credit is due:

• they did find me an alternative route fast
• the new ICE 3 Neo is pretty nice
• the dining car food is actually really good
• the staff was friendly and helping
• looking out the window how a sports car overtakes a truck on the autobahn while you whoosh past both of them at 300 km/h is just sooo cool

@hook If you’re using the DB Navigator App, it has a built-in function to claim your refund.

Otherwise, the website should make this fairly easy, too. I’ve claimed and received several refunds without problems.

(Except that one time where I filled out the form wrong 🫣)
