I don’t like having a character limit, and I notice things that people are on like universeodon that don’t seem to have any limits.
How do I switch from the one that I’m on to one without character limits?
@TheVinylApe don't join Universedon it's broken has been since the admin left and it was taken over. Also there's no such thing as no character limit. Every instance has one. Cupoftea.social has 1000 instead of 500 anyway you need to migrate to account. Setup a fresh account on the new instance then goto https://cupoftea.social/settings/aliases on the new accounts instance and create the alias. Then goto the old ones https://masto.ai/settings/migration page and tell it where the new instance is. That will move everything across
