@ExYZed @Schnuckster I know the lamplighter well. That Whiskey isnt finished in those casks. Also the Jersey Brewery IPA is awful. I used to just go to the Irish pub last time i was there when i drank that is. Nowadays I just goto Boley Bay and Scuba dive

Managed to rescue 2 vinyl from ruin after I used old de-ironized water to clean them accidently. Been using vinyl cleaner and aside from it getting crud on the stylus that comes off with a brush it appears to be much better.

Unfortunately the other one I rescued still has what sounds like a crack on it not really sure what happened there but at least it's a cheapy unlike this original pressing

I needed to retest for distortion after playing a broken record earlier. Think this does the job well.

This master survived the fire and the reissues are still 100% Analogue. Raw sound with that bass drum slamming.

This might their best album. Could really do with a 2x45 version I think the sound is bit trapped in a single 33.

@DigitalDruid very muffled on vinyl. They never fixed it even from the original onto the reissue 14 years later. Whomever mastered it shouldnt have invoiced them for the work. I wouldnt have if it came out like. Had me thinking i had to reclean it more. Its not until you get to the 2nd track it opens up
