Basically, for most regular assignments (i.e. not the final project or the exams), if they make a good faith effort and get most everything right, they get a ✓, which is 100%. If they do everything perfectly or go the extra mile and figure out new things, they get a ✓+ with a little bit of extra credit. If they don't try, they get a ✓−.
