In terms of being indigenous, I believe the Sámi are fairly unique. They're white but also native. Their origins are rather mysterious. We literally don't know where they came from. They are sometimes known as finns here. Or fjellfinn. Mountain finn. Finders.
I have some Sámi in my family who did DNA tests. It's a very mixed bag. One might consider it more of a lifestyle than an ethnicity. Might offend a few Sámi to say this. But I'm Sámi on the mother's side and Kven on the father's side. I have a get-out-of-jail card. Neither of my parents had Norwegian as their mother tongue.
