Hey all. What's been your personal mental health game changers?
I'm in a low place, although less anxious than before - more depressed than maybe ever before. Two sides of the same coin I suppose. Just want to focus on my art and independence but it's getting harder and harder to believe in myself.
There are many things that have worked for me in the past that I abandoned and doing my best to get back into. I wonder if there's more I haven't tried and maybe should.

@skaly Four invaluable things:
1 Time with friends IRL or OL, to remind me of our value to each other & keep me honest about my woes
2 Daily bike ride (or your own cardiovascular thing) to flush the blood of cortisol, etc.
3 Play some music (on instruments I’m no good at) to practice, rest, and not take anything too seriously
4 Meditate to breathe and tell my hobgoblins to STFU for a few minutes
(5) I have friends on medications that have changed their lives. Take them if you need to.

@skaly fully accepting where I’m at and not trying to fix anything, self mothering, if I get stuck in a low place changing centers (walking in nature, turning on music and dancing, anything that gets me into my body). I also started watching my mind…there are lots of mental patterns we aren’t aware of and watching the mind without attaching helps me understand what is going on with my mental state.
