@lilithsaintcrow 😂 Yesterday, I went down a current midlist trad author numbers rabbit hole and learned of the horror of “joint accounting” in which an author gets zero royalties until all the books in their multi book deal have earned out.
I’m so glad my only trad books are non-fiction. Indie suits me so much better.
