Any one ever tried freeze dried fruit?

-benefits, long self life and wont spoil when out a fridge for long.

-Doesn't need a fridge.

-They can be affordable.

-They keep most of the fruits original nutriance.

Regular dehydrated fruits are much cheaper, and not as nutritious. Most freeze dried fruits/veg I see are in the expensive 'health food' section :leafeonmoney:

Because the texture is like chips, and the packaging is usually more than a serving, it's very tempting to just keep eating without watching calories :neocat_nom_cookie:

They're really nice to eat, when I can afford them tho :blobfoxnomcat:

As far as I can tell, the Dollar Tree ones are all 'PRODUCT OF CHINA', and have added sugar, while the Aldi ones are Non-GMO, no added sugar, and are from various countries including China.

Still Dollar Tree sounds like a good deal. :leafeonmoney: Don't have access to that here
