Peertube has more content creators on it then you think. It's harder to find specific content sometimesyou will have to search the samething twice on different servers.

I got a list of anime related channels including independant animation channels like Wolfiechu, korusai, ell cartoons, and more stay tooned for this list of animation channels.

Another interesting video about Enshittification as its coverage goes further main stream. Kind of surprising how everything from big tech companies have turned to crap.

Of course, I started noticing this trend after leaving the :deadbird: site, but of course it since gotten worse. Maybe it's a combination of no more free money and higher interest rates along with VC money drying up, most of the startups and big tech realize that they have to make money to be substainable.

This is why I prefer self-hosting and owning my music for certain things.

fastfood: Subway I would argue is still worth it for me, even at $20 for a sub, compared to what you are getting (in terms of amount/healthy) with a $5 biggie bag at something like wendy's.

At Subway, You are getting a healthier meal plus, more out of your meal. It is more expensive then Wendy's or McDonald's, but it seems like a good deal if it's not an every day thing.

I wouldn't eat there too frequently because it is more expensive then some of the other fast foods, that said, the food quality is solid. Could it be sold cheaper then $20 or more per sub, probably but the food is good and fresh and it feels like it is worth it.

Subscription services: I use to hate but I can see them being worth it if it's a service to some extent. If it's something like Photoshop, and i'm paying for it monthly they should be pumping out the best features all the time and innovating.

Nintendo Switch online is a great example of how not to do a subscription service. They basically sit on old content, and make you pay atleast $50 yearly for the best version, and they don't offer you all the old content. They make so much money off of the service it's ridiculous they insist running it that way, but I get why they do it, to keep people paying longer hopping one day maybe they get a certain console or game added.

People like to say how it's so expensive to make video games today.

What makes it expensive?

Is it the high end hardware.

is it the fact that game devs like to make games 100gb+?

is it because voice actors want more money?

whatever it is, is it possible to get a good modern game that's atleast under 50 gb, that takes advantage of all the modern visual effects and graphic capabilities but not be so demanding and expensive making them?

It's funny because the newest call of duty is so big it had to be split up.
150 gb+ install size

@Radical_EgoCom Yes the idea of this seems bad, and is counter to libertarian communism. However, arguments for this is, if ballenced right it can work well to have ellected officials decide on laws.

@ChrisWere @Radical_EgoCom Sounds like you're saying the individuals would need more quality control. More education about policy decisions. Which could be achievable.

Sometimes I wish there were more As they are easier to make, less drawing is needed, if you make your own custom characters made in figures, from there you just got to snap your frames then add in audio and sounds later.

It can be time consuming, but also time saving.

Stop motion also takes less technical skill to do something simple then simplified 2D Lower skill curve, leaves room to create something great for more people.

@NaraMoore @chikorita157 @bluecaller I wouldn't be surprised.

With all this ai, hand drawn and possibly even digitally hand drawn anime and animation will become less relevant to the biggest corporations. The smallest ones still left from the past decades, will eventually get sold or merged.

So what you end up left with is independent creators on social media platforms and even that's being axed at with I'd verification to be able to have accounts on social media sites.
