@activetowns we need to rethink the notion that "better road designs and public transit will require significant up-front investment" and learn to see the 3-5 redundant overbuilt car streets that are available to serve any given trip vs the unbuilt bike/walk networks that are largely disconnected by the of these 4-lane stroads. Network-wide quick-build bike connections and bus/turn-only the outside lanes of stroads by shifting operational funds to prioritize people, then iterate.
