@fatboy See, I would say it like "pseudo" because that seems like the obvious pronunciation in my mind, regardless of the command's etymology. But then my boss says that's exactly why he pronounces "etc" like "etsy," even though it's clearly supposed to be "et cetera." They're basically the same situation, but I resolve them differently, and I'm not sure where the line is.
