nyquildotorg, I have witnessed multiple offices get nothing done for entire days after someone started a "is a hot dog a sandwich" debate.
I assure you, no matter how well thought out you think your argument is, someone else has already countered it. It's a problem just like the Pluto problem: there's no definition of sandwich that will encapsulate everything you and Tim from accounting both think the definition is, and will one day require a new definition to concretely rule on whether a hot dog is or isn't a sandwich. (Just like with Pluto.)
All I can say for sure is nearly half of the people who've ever had this debate are going to be really angry. (Just like with Pluto.)
