@lichwitch coming back this sober I think the advice is mostly that being Horny tends to be motivation to continue improving. You focus on it and become better and better at drawing that specific thing + anything else you need to get there.
Its about the obsession encouraging repetition, less so the fact its sexual.
@oct2pus oh for sure this is also true. sexual obsession is probably a good motivator for some people but for me it's more the idea of the fully realized aesthetic of whatever i'm trying to create. that's what's got the juice for me
@lichwitch I think some of the trouble is more like. Art encompasses both technical skill and also pure expression which are both simultaneously intertwined and completely distinct from each other. Ive seen YouTube artist who have some funny jokes or decent enough technical skill but they have absolutely nothing interesting to say creatively.

Im not really saying much besides "look how cute this girl is" a lot of the time. Im not really going to pretend its deeper than that currently. I guess I do really need you to know that she's cute though.
I think being weird can make what you have to say more interesting though.
