Reminder: Abusive parents exist and that sometimes includes mothers. You are under no obligation to honor abusive parents, and you don't deserve to feel any shame or guilt about it. Abuse is never the victim's fault.
@JeremyMallin I stayed off Facebook yesterday so I didn’t see all the happy Mother’s Day posts from my relatives. Just consider myself to not have a mother because she’s a severely and genuinely evil human being.
