@matt5sean3 oh yeah 100%, it's never a good Idea to browbeat someone you actually want to win over. Always a losing strategy. Even if you don't respect the opinion itself you should always respect the person and their right to have an opinion, however they got there. Ideally you can hold a conversation.
Though, I do know there are unfortunately a lot of our fellow progressives who are very absolutist about certain things like their vote. It really stinks watching people actively try to tear down their potential allies.
