The ghost of the #Johnson premiership still haunts the #Tories! They will be destroyed by their decision to make him Prime Minister. #Sunak is just the idiot that is standing on the bridge. The sooner the government & the party sinks the better for all of us!
@jacqui76 I personally think it was Cameron’s decision to do the referendum that started their slide in to the bin but you aren’t wrong about #bozo and the rest!
I don't disagree about Cameron's decision to hold that referendum. It was the sheer aggorance of the man to play games with the entire UK, to deal with an over-inflated threat from a pound shop Enoch Powell.
#Johnson and his ego took them over the cliff just to satisfy his his own desires.
However thanks to those two men - the UK union has never looked weaker, it has been exposed as unequal and many are looking at the alternative. Leaving this 'voluntary' union.
@jacqui76 yeah I totally see what you are saying and well put. I’ve been saying though that there appears to be one Brexit benefit: the complete destruction of the Tories….. #BrexitHasFailed#ToryShambles
@jacqui76 yup, it was the equivalent of sticking their fingers in their ears. At this point I don’t think anyone on the Remain side would blame The Irish or the Scottish for breaking up the union. Only question is can you take us suffering English in??? #willworkforbeer#help
As the island of Ireland is the land of 'Céad Míle Fáilte' (a hundred thousand welcomes) & our own history of emigration - you will find a warm welcome waiting for you... Also a pint if you want #willworkforbeer
This weak as dishwater #PrimeMinister is now facing six* by-elections with these poll numbers. Will be fun to watch!
*It is actually only five at the moment as #NadineDorries is still figuring out how to use a dictionary to look up the meaning of the word 'immediately'
