skye, German

hello tech support i have a problem

i use #epiphany / #gnomeWeb as a browser. i need to make a custom CSS. epiphany has a buton for that in the settings. the button is supposed to open a text editor. it does nothing. presumably because it does not know which text editor to use. because i do not have a way to set this through gnome settings or otherwise. because i do not have gnome.

@skye I think I figured it out. \o/

If I run epiphany from shell (so I can see the error messages) I get:

No available application to open /home/ariane/.local/share/epiphany/user-stylesheet.css: No application is registered as handling this file

It turns out this is the file you need to edit.

And also, I think epiphany has a watch on that file, as when I save it, it changes immediately.

skye,

@nahratzah hah! i didn't think to just run it from the shell. tried to glean something from strace instead which did epically Not work. next time i will try the easy thing first xD

@skye if it were Jeopardy, I would guess "Niche Problems to face as a Haiku OS user 400". :D
