@AAKL @PCMag No, subs open=money flowing so they were bound to replace and get them back open. Personally the John Oliver thing cracks me up (I love Last Week Tonight and hope post WGA strike he spends a minute or too talking about suddenly getting thrown into the reddit saga lol).

@ppb1701 @PCMag That was funny, but I wonder how long it will last if these subreddits don't want to pay these exorbitant prices. Seems like they might have to set up shop elsewhere.

@AAKL @PCMag Some are moving or partially moving to discord, lemmy/kbin, or other places. Odds are though it will be more of a split.
