@shekinahcancook your conclusion is not the only interpretation. The workplace has always been stressful and unfulfilling. Why are people retiring now? You need to do more reporting to draw conclusions. Could be that 401ks are doing well because of the stock market. Could be that the big inflation driven COLA increase in social security in 2023 made retirement more attractive. Could be that people stayed in the workforce out of boredom through covid but really wanted to retire...
