@elley as I get older I come back to this question more and more often. 😅
There's tons of great games -- not "great for their time", but "great-great" -- that are older and readily available. A lot of which are much more original and innovative than what's released nowadays.
And of course nostalgia is real. Replaying something from your youth can be very comforting. Especially if it's just as good as you remember. 🙂
