New 30m drive and new location for #Perseverance on Sol 1114, RMC 51.2990, the closest so far to #Ingenuity, just 360m south of it, and very close to the edge of the south Neretva Vallis riverbank.

I sure hope so. The fact that Ingenuity's team have not yet published their promised Close Out Report, so to speak, might mean that there remain still significant uncertainties about the events around flights 71 & 72. Some good SUPERCAM shots may give additional clues.
@65dBnoise yes, I think so too. I was emailing with one of the engineers the other week and the team didn't have a conclusive theory about the accident then. (It was before the livestream with Travis Brown, where he talked about the same theories we discussed)

It's only 15 minutes, but beggars can't be choosers 🙂 . Tzanetos was the one giving out most technical details in the past, but he's been quite laconic lately. On the contrary, Brown's interview the other day was full of new details. A real joy.
@65dBnoise it was indeed! I'm glad that NSF is doing these kinds of livestreams with experts that are still very specific and informative contrary to JPLs own Instagram streams.
Also, it was really affirming to get a public shout-out from him, I didn't expect that with me not being a collaborator :)
