I think you figured this already, but the hard-top MX-5 is virtually identical to the soft-top models. Pretty sure the only difference is the roof and the roof switch.
I've actually thought of switching my MX-5 badge to the original “Miata" badge since not many people know what an “em-ex-five" is.
