#StackOverflow does not allow closing the cookie banner due to externally loaded (and commonly blocked) Javascript.

Workaround for #Firefox and #Chrome until somebody suggests a suitable browser extension:

1. Ctrl+Shift+C to open the browser's #DeveloperTools and enter element selection mode.

2. Click on the black part of the cookie banner (to select all of it and not just a part).

3. With the tree view of HTML elements focused, press delete on the keyboard to remove the cookie banner.

@floppy ha... I'd been using UBO to get rid of that thing.

The very annoying part is that this banner is a DIFFERENT element ID for each stackoverflow site.
