Problem with my old Suns is that I don't have any monitor that can properly do the oddball resolution needed (these cursed HDMI things throw a tantrum when presented that signal)

Also, I don't have a proper Sun mouse! I should at least get one that works with my Type 5 keyboard...

yay, this Cisco training has video speed-up! So I'm running it at 2X.

I'll probably need to slow down to 1X on the important parts (it's about MPLS; there are lots of moving parts I need to keep track of to properly troubleshoot or implement this)

TIL Gradius 3 SNES has secret bonus levels (completing most of these skips the level boss)

Also TIL most of the bosses are on a timer, so you can "beat" a boss by just surviving until the time's up! >:o(

Fortunately it's more fun fighting the bosses legit. Unfortunately, there's no cheater bar for Lousy Level 7 (the <reverb>AUTO-SCROLL LEVEL FROM HELL</reverb>)

I'm seeing these 2-wheel scooter things that are somehow KEEPING UP WITH CAR TRAFFIC

In USA, these "slow" vehicles have a 25mph cap on their speed, but it's clear that some modify their e-scooter things to go much faster

And of course they wear absolutely no helmet or proper clothing, so they'll be street pizza after they invariably make a mistake

@mroach euugh... I remember right after Oracle decommissioned SunSolve, I had to download a patch bundle. It was simple on the old sunsolve.

It took me 2 hours on Oracle's replacement to even find the thing. And that's after I begged (internal to my employer) for access to a contract we still had with them

Yep, "fuck Oracle" was the major theme of that day. ;o)
