Supreme Court Justice Abe Fortas stepped down from the court after it was discovered he had a financial connection with a business that had a case before the court. He didn’t need to step down, he did it because he didn’t want people to think the Supreme Court was corrupt. American politics has really changed.
Democrats always be doing the right thing and making room for Republicans. This guy left knowing he would give a Republican a supreme court justice pick.
