juandesant, (edited ) Today I learned that, contrary to my belief, there is Cut and Paste for files in macOS, not just Copy and Paste… and has been available since Mac OS X Lion!
There are just two steps after selecting the files to be moved, and the trick is on the second one:
- Press Command-C to get the source of the files
- Press Command-Option-V to paste the documents in the new location, and cutting them from the previous location.
