Well, that's something! I looked at a few and thought, now where's the TV tuner? Then I thought, I use an Apple TV for everything, anyway, so...

@sfwrtr @downey commercial displays are not meant to be used the way we use TVs. I’m not saying it’s impossible to use one, but they tend to have strange caveats (like very slow refresh rates).

No worries. I'll keep that in mind.

The Smart 4K TV I have now is totally frustrated but fully functioning, so I'm not in the market for this gen. Every so often it takes over the screen and complains it has no network connectivity and that I'm losing out! I then massage the buttons on its remote, calming its fears until it returns to its slumber. Then I hide the remote so nobody disturbs the dumb thing. #tv #smarttv

@downey There are also some TVs that are "designed for XBox" or any other gaming and are basically just monitors with a remote. Something like the Philips Momentum series.
